The measurements are usually 40 x 40 inches and has a fringe all around. It is considered more dressy and can be of various weights. Usually it is the same as the weight of the kilt. Prices vary based on the company that makes the tartan fabric you are using. Please feel free to email or call 888-434-5800. If you want a different size than standard we can make that too. Be sure you select a large secure brooch to hold the plaid at the shoulder.
For your wedding this is a very nice effect as it swings behind when you walk.
You can add a sash 10 x 90 inches to give the bride to wear or to use as a "Handfasting". Wrapping around the hands is an old-fashioned touching addition.
